Hyunui Le started work on the the Unus Mundus Series since 2002 and organized various exhibitions and projects.
Human beings live, having a relationship with the spatial structure of the universe, the natural order of this world. I also live in this world. I have continued to ask about the origin of all beings in the world, looking into the inner realm via the process working on my creation and attempted to grasp the essence underlying the phenomenon, in an effort to know their meaning.
The world exists in time and space, in front, behind and everywhere, being sensed and perceived by us is limited. The phenomena of chaos and disorder are common around us, being regarded as hard to understand and exceptional, abnormal, and distracted by the understanding on the nature. Nevertheless, everything exists in the world all the time. In a series of coexistence and conflict, a number of worlds exist in the world, and sometimes contain another world. The Nature Series: Unus Mundus is a visual art work of many natural phenomena in these worlds in sequence.
2005
Unus Mundus is a Latin word meaning a unified world or one world. Philosopher C.G. Jung talked about his transcendental superior structure using this term. As a way of expressing the natural congestion and disorder of the world, I employ such concepts as chaos, fractal, and synchronicity. Saying good bye to the dimension of the simple system seeking the mechanical value which were predominant for centuries, I have tried to examine the form and nature of organism as a complex system and visualized uncertain and obscure natural phenomena beyond our understanding with resort to these concepts.
Nature is the source of all originality in art.
